Halo Garage Policies

Warranty Policy

Halo Garage stands behind the quality of the products we supply. This Warranty Policy outlines what is covered, what is excluded and how warranty claims are handled for eligible products.

01

Limited Warranty Coverage

Halo Garage lighting products are supplied with a 12-month limited warranty against verified manufacturing defects.

This warranty applies only to defects arising from normal use under intended operating conditions.

The warranty period commences from the original date of purchase.

02

What Is Covered?

The Halo Garage limited warranty covers manufacturing defects including, but not limited to:

  • LED strip or light bar failure resulting from a manufacturing defect.
  • Manufacturing defects in connectors and supplied components.
  • Premature component failure under normal operating conditions.
  • Power supply or driver failure resulting from a manufacturing defect.

Due to the modular nature of our lighting systems, Halo Garage may replace only the individual component or section that has failed rather than replacing the entire lighting kit.

03

What Is Not Covered?

The Halo Garage warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation.
  • Incorrect voltage supply.
  • Improper wiring.
  • Physical damage.
  • Water or moisture damage unless specifically stated otherwise.
  • Damage caused during installation.
  • Commercial misuse.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Cosmetic damage occurring after installation.
  • Damage caused by accidents, abuse or neglect.
  • Products modified, altered or repaired by unauthorised persons.
04

Installation Responsibility

Halo Garage strongly recommends that all lighting products be installed by a suitably qualified, competent installer or electrician.

The customer assumes responsibility for ensuring that the product is suitable for its intended application, installation environment and electrical supply.

Customers using independent third-party installers do so at their own risk.

Where Halo Garage approved installation partners are utilised within the Johannesburg region, installation support may be provided in accordance with the relevant installation agreement.

05

Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • The original order number.
  • A detailed description of the issue.
  • Photographs and/or video evidence of the fault.

Halo Garage may request additional information or require the product to be returned for inspection before approving a warranty claim.

06

Shipping Costs For Warranty Claims

If a warranty claim is approved as valid, Halo Garage will cover reasonable shipping costs associated with the replacement process.

If inspection determines that the product fault falls outside of warranty coverage, the customer will be responsible for any associated shipping costs.

07

Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty will immediately become void if:

  • The product has been modified or altered.
  • Unauthorised repairs have been attempted.
  • The product has been incorrectly installed.
  • The product has been subjected to misuse, abuse or neglect.
  • The product has been used outside of its intended purpose.
08

Limitation of Liability

Halo Garage's liability under this warranty is limited solely to the replacement, refund or replacement component supplied for the defective product.

Halo Garage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from the use or inability to use any product.
